Ministry Teams

Fellowship & Outreach

Fellowship - This group works on ways to foster fellowship within the Good Shepherd community, primarily through activities that bring us all together.

Outreach and Community Service - This team is engaged in support of community organizations and activities, such as:

Little Free Food Pantry

Good Shepherd has a "Little Free Food Pantry" on the porch of the Vicarage. The food cupboard is stocked with non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items. We sometimes have pet food as well. Everything is accessible to the community 24/7. This pantry provides emergency food to those in need at times when there isn't a food pantry open. Inventory changes frequently and the community is invited to stock the shelves with non-perishable and non-expired items.

The "Little Free Food Pantry" is for the entire community. Please help us take care of it and the space around it. Tidy the shelves if needed, clean up any spill or litter. Give what you can by placing food and hygiene items inside the pantry cabinet. Give what you would want to receive. No gift is too small - a single can of fruit can help. Take what you need, whenever you are in need.

We thank those who have helped us with this ministry including Country Porch Antiques in Hopland who donated the cabinet, Grocery Outlet, and Grace Lutheran Church.
